2. How do I redeem points?

Here’s the fun part! When you’ve earned enough points for the reward of your choice, head over to the Rewards Tab and click on the “REDEEM” button and follow the instructions. If you aren’t able to click “REDEEM”, it just means you don’t have enough points for that reward.

You will be rewarded with a coupon code to use on Berkley-fishing.com. You will receive your unique coupon code at the bottom of the rewards page. You will then need to go to Berkley-fishing.com and select your prize and use the coupon code that was emailed to you.

Some items will be automatically mailed to you without need for a coupon code. In those cases, you can track the status of your order on the bottom of the Rewards page where it says “Your Redemptions.”

If a reward reads “NO LONGER AVAILABLE” then the prize pool has been depleted.

3. How do I earn points by inviting friends?

Earn big points by inviting friends to join! Share your unique link on Facebook or Twitter and earn points every time a friend clicks on that link and additional points when they sign up for the club. You can access your referral link by clicking “My Profile”.

4. How long are my points good for?

The points you earn in high school as part of the Team Red are valid until you graduate from high school. Your points start over when you begin college and will be valid until you graduate college. The points you earn will roll over every year so you can save up for the big prizes.

5. My points aren’t showing the correct balance.

Sometimes it might take the system a minute to award your points. If the correct balance isn’t showing, sometimes refreshing the page helps. If that doesn’t work right away there might be a delay. Check your points again tomorrow and if they’re still not there, contact us using the Contact Form and we’ll take care of you.

6. I do not have a fishing team/club at my school.

If you do not have a fishing team, don’t worry, you can still participate! You have unique activities and challenges to complete and you will have the opportunity to win prizes for yourself.

7. My fishing club/team did not sign up for the Berkley Team Red.

Ask you fishing coach or team captain to sign up so your team points can accrue towards winning team grand prizes.

10. Do my points contribute to the team’s points for the grand prizes?

Yes! Your club’s total points for Team Red are a combination of the actions that only the Coach can report on and the average of the points earned by the students who sign up for the program.

Example: The Coach completes a team activity for 1,000 points. Meanwhile, there are 2 students in the Club who have completed actions in their accounts that gave them individual points as well. Student 1 has earned 500 points and Student 2 has earned 300 points. The average points for the Students is therefore 400 points. Adding the Coach points to the average of the student points means that this team has a total of 1,400 points.

11. How does my team win the grand prizes?

At the end of the term, the team that has earned the most points will win the grand prize. The Team with the second most points will win the second place prize and the team with the third most points will win the third place prize.
